Elizabeth holds a Master of Music Education degree from Pennsylvania State University specializing in instrumental music and strings and a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from SUNY Fredonia. She teaches elementary strings in the Victor Central School District, and conducts the Concertino Strings at Hochstein School of Music. Elizabeth performs with the Greater Rochester Women's Philharmonic and has enjoyed performing music at weddings for 7 years.
Amber holds a Masters Degree in Education from Nazareth College and a Bachelors Degree in Music from Fredonia State University. She enjoys teaching elementary and junior high orchestra in the West Irondequoit School District and maintains private studios in Irondequoit and Pittsford. Locally, Amber has performed with Mercury Opera, Greece Symphony, Brighton Symphony, Nazareth Symphony Orchestra, the RIT Orchestra and the Finger Lakes Choral Society.
Tim currently holds a Bachelors of Music from the Ithaca College School of Music in Music Education, with further studies in advanced instrumental conducting, analysis of the symphony and multicultural perspectives. He is currently the Director of Orchestras for the Junior/Senior High Schools in Victor, and serves on the Canandaigua faculty for the Hochstein School of Music. Tim also has performance experience with StumpBite Production Company, the Hochstein at Canandaigua Faculty String Quartet, and is a cellist-at-large with the South Mill Chamber Players in Princeton Jct, New Jersey.
Patricia Garvey is one of America’s young cellists making her mark on the musical world. Her musical performances have taken her throughout North and South America and Europe. Originally from Wheaton, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, Ms. Garvey began her studies of the cello at age nine in the Wheaton public schools and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree of music from the Eastman School of Music in 2004 and a master’s degree of music from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 2007. Her primary teachers have included Marc Johnson, David Ying, and Stephen Geber. Ms. Garvey currently lives in Rochester, NY, where she is a core member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
